Tools from Tonic Studios
Tonic Studios offers some of the nicest scissors and tools we've seen. Tonic Studios was started in 2001 by a team of people with years of knowledge and passion about the craft industry. The owner and the chief product designer are also some of the nicest people we met at HIA! They have created a line of cutting products that really work, and their products are an excellent value.
With soft touch handles and hardened steel precision ground blades, these scissors are designed for superior comfort, accuracy and strength.
All of Tonic's products are ergonomically designed, and Tonic scissors have an amazingly comfortable Kushgrip handle. Kushgrip is a soft, tactile, rubber like material molded onto Tonic scissors to provide a comfortable, non-slip grip. The material has been designed to enable hours of effortless cutting.
We tried all of these scissors, and we love them!
The Multi-cutter from Tonic Studios is my
new favorite pair of scissors. I was really excited to find such a good pair of
scissors that will cut metal. I love the oversized handles, too. These are much more comfortable in
my hands than the metal shears I had been using. Tonic's multi cutter scissors will cut my copper sheets, copper mesh,

Tonic’s non-stick scissors have one serrated blade and one sharp blade for excellent cutting on all types of material – including lightweight metal, sheet rubber, vinyl and adhesive backed papers. The non-stick coating prevents a build up of adhesive. Two sizes available:

The newest scissors in
Tonic's line, these spring-action scissors feature a spring action and Kushgrip handles
which reduce the hand fatigue. These spring-cut scissors are excellent for
detail cutting, and the handy locking mechanism and protective blade cover make
these great for traveling.
