Just position your inked stamp where you want it on your paper, on top of the cushion in the base of the press. As you pull the handle towards you, the flat metal plate exerts pressure on the stamp to give you a firm impression.  The Stamp Press helps you achieve a great impression, whether you are using hand-carved, wood-mounted, or unmounted stamps.
