DreamKuts is manufactured by the same company as the Bind-it-All, and is a great companion product. About the size of a small printer, DreamKuts is an automatic paper cutter with two slots for your paper. You will "feed" your paper into one of two slots at the top of the machine, and the cut paper will come out of a third slot below.
The guides in the top slot of the machine are 12 inches apart and adjustable
towards the center. When you are using paper smaller than 12 inches wide, you
will push both black guides towards the center of the machine until each guide
touches the edge of your paper.
The top slot has one blade, centered. Whatever size paper you center between
those two guides will be cut perfectly in half.
The black guides in the lower slot are not movable, but there are lines on
the machine to show you exactly where the two blades are. The lower slot
has two blades four inches apart. If you run 12x12 paper through the lower slot,
it will be cut into three 4" strips.
If you run 11-inch paper through the lower slot with the paper all the way to
the left OR all the way to the right, you can get two 4" strips and a
3" strip.
Using a sheet of 12x12 paper as an example, here's how it would work. You run it
through the first slot and you'll have two sheets of 12x6 paper. You can run the
12x6 through the first slot a second time, and get four 6x6 sheets -- or you can
run the 12x6 sheets through the second slot and get 4x6 sheets. You can also put
the 4x6 sheets through the first slot and get 4x3 sheets.
DreamKuts will be very handy for cutting identical book pages quickly and
precisely. It does not replace your paper cutter because you can't cut wherever
you want to cut, just where it is made to cut.
