We all love innovative new tools, but there are some tried-and-true basic tools
that we continue to rely on. These are some of the "must-have"
basic tools... tools that are often listed on a "bring-to-class"
supply list... tools we must replace from time to time.
Craft knife
Just about every art class I've taken has a craft knife on the
supply list! Made by Excel, a company known for its super-sharp blades,
this precision craft knife has three features I love: a tightly closing safety
cap so I don't cut myself when rummaging through my bag, a soft grip to pamper
my hands (in red, my favorite color!), and a square bushing that prevents the
knife from rolling off the table and into my foot! A bargain price, too!
